Gluten Free Baking Class
A few weeks ago my lovely mother in law took me to a gluten free baking class at Gygi! The class was way fun, I learned a lot and left with lots of great recipes. While there we had to work in groups to make one of the recipes, My mother in law and I were in charge of making peanut butter cookies. They turned out great! I felt weird during the whole class because I kept thinking that I shouldn't eat anything we were making, then I remembered that it was gluten free so I could eat everything! I still ended up with a stomachache that night, from eating too many sweets!
Petting Zoo
I went to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point with the Gainers for their Family Fun Day! I had never been to that petting zoo, we had fun!
There were lots of baby animals!
I love babies, especially this one!
She rode a pony and LOVED it!

What a fun day at the petting zoo!
March is National Craft Month
I decided that while my husband was out of town that I would keep myself busy by doing crafts!

I don't have any St Patrick's Day decorations so I decided that I would m
ake one to hang on my front door. It is definitely not the best thing I have ever made, but I think its cute and I wanted to be at least a little bit festive.
I had an idea of making an Easter egg by mod podging paper on to wood. One day while at hobby lobby I found a oval piece of wood for $1.50, and thought it would work perfect! I bought it and already had paper at home. I took Megan to hobby lobby to get her a piece of wood too. (Collette and Nicole. I should of thought of this craft earlier because it would of been a good one to do for craft night. But I knew there was no way we would all be able to get together before Easter.) I used my cricut to cut out the paper, then mod podged it to the wood and decorated it with buttons and rhinestones. I am pretty proud of it! But Megan's turned out a lot cuter then mine!

On one of the craft blogs I look at I saw all these d.i.y subway art. I decided that it was exactly what my living room needed. One night while watching TV, I used my cricut to cut out all the words I wanted on it. Then arranged them on the floor how I wanted them. I measured to see about how big of a canvas I would need. At hobby lobby I found a canvas for pretty cheap the size that I needed. I painted it black and the mod podged the words on. I am very proud about how it turned out! I can't wait to hang it up in my living room!

It sure has been fun being crafty but I am sure excited for my husband to come home! 2 weeks is way too long. Josh doesn't hold back my craftiness or anything, I just like to spend all my time with him, plus I don't think he would be very happy about the mess on the living room floor the whole time he was gone :) I plan to keep embracing my craftiness and I will be sure to blog about it!

Crossfit Battle Wounds!
I get bruises a lot. Thats just who I am. Mostly I have not clue how I got them and they mostly don't hurt. I have at least one bruise on one of my legs at all times.
Today I was at Crossfit Draper working on my Squat Cleans with my trainer when I was pulling the bar up i totally hit it on my knee, which hurt a lot. Then Our work out of the consisted on LOTS of Deadlifts which involves pulling the bar up from the ground to above your knees, where your arms hang, keeping it in contact with your legs the whole time. So this is what my knee looks like now after hitting it with the bar and then dragging a heavier bar over it 37 times!
It looks a lot worse in person believe me!
