Ugly Sweater Party

This year we started a new tradition... a family ugly sweater party. We did it this year because Travis, Nicole and Maggie won't be in town for our Christmas Eve Tradition this year.

We had Homemade Pizza (Special gluten free pizza for Collette and I) Swedish Christmas Soda and Treats! We exchanged presents with Travis, Nicole and Maggie since they won't be there on Christmas Morning. (I got a way cute zip up hoodie and a new purse!) We played Wii and we voted on who we thought had the ugliest sweater!

It was pretty close, almost a tie between Josh and Noah, But in the end.....

It was so much fun! I can't wait to start looking for my sweater for next years party!

3. When do you put your tree up? The weekend after Thanksgiving.

13. When do you start Christmas shopping? Usually sometime after Thanksgiving.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas time? Cheese Ball!

Best Date Ever!

I bet a lot of people are surprised to read this title especially coming from me :) ha (sorry i have been kinda a Debby Downer lately especially about dating). This was my second date with this guy, on our first date he asked me what my best date ever was, and I couldn't even think of a good one... I told him that it had been awhile since I have had a really good date. He decided to take it upon himself to make the next date that we went on "The Best Date" I had ever been on. And he definitely takes the cake on this on.

To start off I knew he had to be a winner to take me out in the middle of the BIGGEST game of the year in Utah!

He picked me up at 5:30 and we went to dinner at Carver's (I had never been, but heard it was way good so I was excited) We got the stuffed portobello mushroom to share for the appetizer, It was good (I know i am shocked that I liked it too) Then I got the New York Strip steak and it was very good. I ate half of the mushroom, my whole salad, all of my baked potato and my whole steak. Ha!

Then we went to the Coldplay Concert! Oh my goodness it was way good. The first opening act was ok but i didn't pay too much attention (sleepercar). The second act was a DJ or something named Jon Hopkins. That was Crazy... he had an animation video that went with his music that made us feel like we were on drugs or like we needed to be on drugs to understand it. But Coldplay was amazing! I didn't take my camera so I don't have any pictures :(

But I have a feeling that there might be a 3rd date!

Good guys finish last????

If i hear one more person say that or read one more thing about it, I might just have to punch someone in the face (and I have a few people in mind).

To every guy who doesnt care how far away she lives, and will still date her because it's her.

Not many girls appreciate nice guys anymore... And because of this, there are not many left out there...

If you are a nice guy resend this with "Nice guys finish last."as the subject"

And NO I don't expect too much.... I mostly just expect respect... at least enough respect not to get ditched twice, lied to, and have a pothead picked over me and definitely NOT to get groped on a FIRST date that was also a BLIND date... I don't think that is too much to ask for, well at least i don't think so. And NO I am not just attracted to jerks, honestly who does that???

I am pretty sure there are no good guys out there... They are all spoken for. Yes i know i haven't met all the guys out there and I don't actually know, but I have had plenty of experience with the not so good guys and I am just sick and tired of them. And and and if you think you really are a good guy and use this phrase just make sure you are 100% sure you are a good guy, because one guy I dated a long time ago pulled the 'good guys finish last' on me before we started dating (he didn't approve of my ex boyfriend) and he ended up treating me not very good. P.S. He later apologized for not treating me right and i forgave him. (just an example of people using it when they shouldn't)

I have a second date with a pretty nice seeming guy this weekend, hopefully it goes good. I need a GOOD date. The last few before this new guys were AWFUL. If you want the details just ask they are good stories.

Sorry about this rant.... some guy pulled the old 'good guys finish last' on me tonight and it just got me thinking. (I should be asleep) Hopefully I didn't offend anyone, if I did SORRY.

Brinlee Lynn Gainer...

...was born at 6:26 am on the morning of November 8th 2008! She was measured at 8 pounds 3 ounces and 21 inches long! And she is a cutie pie! Megan and Brinlee are both doing well and should be home tomorrow.

Here are a few pictures... I am actually supposed to be studying for an Anatomy test so I will get more pictures up when I have more time, because I have PLENTY pictures!
