Look How Cute We Are!

IMG_0656

Its been so fun being pregnant at the same time as my sister, Megan.  I am so exited for our babies to be best cousins and only a month and a half a part!  I wanted to get a few more pictures of Meg and I together before she's not pregnant anymore.

Lately

I have some catching up to do...

I am now 32 weeks and down to my 2 week Dr visits (which seems absolutely crazy).  I am starting to get pretty uncomfortable.  He is not head down yet, he is still all over the place.  My back hurts really bad at night and sometimes if I sit too long.  Still no weird cravings.  I have some pretty bad heartburn that my daily heartburn medication can't sometimes handle.  I am pretty sure everyone thinks I am due tomorrow and when I tell them I still have until October they say "wow thats still quite while"... Tell me about it.  And being pregnant in August brings a whole new definition to HOT.  I am definitely lucky it has kinda been a mild summer, but the last few weeks I've been too hot to be alive.  Glad our air conditioning finally works!

I had a baby shower a few weeks ago, not a very big turn out but still very fun!  My really good friend from Texas was just coincidentally in Utah at the same time.  I am so glad she came!
sorry the pictures kinda blurry.
Very cute decor by Megan

And my diaper trike that Collette made me
And the "butt load" of blue white chocolate popcorn I
made for the shower!
Megan's friend Melissa's Husband (wow thats a mouth full!) offered to take some maternity pictures of me because he needed some more maternity pictures for his portfolio.  Here is his blog so you can look at how cute they turned out!

There is this awesome double-decker bus parked in some lot in Draper, that happens to be a part of a haunted circus (yikes) But I had Josh take a few pictures of me by the bus.  I like how they turned out!

I made this sign for the nursery!  I am very proud!  It is not all the way done in this picture but I wanted to show everyone.  I want to distress it a little more.

I went on a walk with the Gainers, to help Megan walk her baby out!  The things you can see on a nice sunday evening walk in Draper. a T-rex, a baby zebra, a family walking their pony, a very cute little deer eating leaves off a tree, and so much more.
Brinlee named him Rex-y!

Trying to solve the bookmarking problem with my blog...

I know I have heard a couple people can't bookmark my new blog because it takes them to my old blog... WEIRD.  So I tried to delete my old blog to see if the solved the problems I was having with my blog, but then people couldn't find my new blog without the link from my old blog.

I am trying to find a solution.  I have a link to this blog on my facebook that takes you to the right place.  I wonder if you "FOLLOW" my blog by clicking on "FOLLOW" on the top left corner of my blog, then when adding a blog to your "blog list" click on "add to list" then on "blogs I follow" Maybe that will work but I can't follow myself so I can't test it out.

3rd Trimester!

Holy moly! I can't believe that I am in my 3rd trimester already, 2/3 done.  WEIRD.  I can't wait for my little baby to get here, so I can hold him.  He is going to be so cute!

Funny story.  I was at work last night and I was checking on one of our residents and he wanted to talk, so I sat and talked with him for a little.  He was saying something about my cute little baby and I said back to him "I sure hope he is cute because I won't know what to do if he isn't"  and he got very serious and took me by both my hands and gave me a big long speech about how my baby will be cute because he will be MY baby!  It was very cute!  Just a couple minutes after that he was put his hand on my tummy and then pulled it off really quick and said "excuse me, sorry, I don't know if you want me to do that but I just can't help myself." I sure will miss seeing those people every week.

I am 28 weeks pregnant! Only 83 days to go.  He is about 2 1/4 pounds, equal in weight to a Chinese cabbage :) The baby has dropped a little within the last week. My back, hips and ribs have started hurting really bad lately.  I took my Glucose test at the Dr this week and passed it! I have started on projects for the nursery, the room is not quite ready to move stuff in yet but I am almost finished the mobile and started the bunting I am going to hang around his room.  I have the fabric I am going to use for his bedding, I just have figure out exactly what I am going to do and start on it!

I have another baby shower tomorrow and then another one next weekend... this baby is going to be spoiled!!  I will keep everyone updated!

Sawyer Brown!

Josh and I went to the Sawyer Brown concert at the Scera Shell Outdoor Theater in Orem.
We tried to go to a Deirks Bentley and Sawyer Brown concert in May but It was an outdoor concert too and it was so cold and rainy and miserable that Josh and I ended up leaving before anyone started playing.  I was so sad, I cried like the whole way home.

Last night was so much fun it made up for missing the concert in May!  It still rained most of the time, but it was warmer and we had chairs this time so we didn't get quite as wet.  Josh didn't understand why I was so excited for this concert, but just ask anyone in my family, Sawyer Brown is the BEST concert ever.  They have been together 30 years and you can tell that they still love what they do.  Just watch this Music Video, that is how the concerts are still. So Fun!

The lead singer still dances like he does in the video.  They usually sprinkle talcum powder on the stage where the microphone is so that he can dance around, but last night the stage was wet from the rain so he didn't need the powder to dance around.

Most of my best memories I have growing up revolve around Sawyer Brown.  My mom had an out patient surgery scheduled on the same day as one of their concerts.  Once she was out and feeling ok, we packed up the car and drove to Ogden for the concert and my mom danced her heart out the whole concert!

Josh and I had so much fun, a great Pioneer Day Celebration!
